VOICES FOR HUMANITY: Annual Fundraiser Luncheon

600 people attended this event on October 29 at the Westin! Thank you to everyone for your support and contributions!

Teacher Jo Cripps and student Imani P.The attendees of the lucheon were inspired by the reunion between Buchenwald survivor, Robbie Waisman, who traveled from Vancouver BC to join us in honoring his liberator, Leo Hymas. They also learned about the mission of the Center from teachers and students like Imani Phillips, a freshman at Franklin High School in Seattle, who credits Holocaust education with changing her own prejudices. Keynote speaker, Nick Coddington, award-winning teacher from Charles Wright Academy in Tacoma, shared his powerful vision that with Holocaust, genocide and human rights education our students can change the world.
